My doll house fail....AND an epoch giveaway!

Sooo...any and everyone remember my HUGE doll house plans with that awesome old school block storage I found?  Ya.  It didn't pan out.  I was so bummed.  I purchased awesome matching scrapbook paper for the "Wall papered" walls and attached all of it...painstakingly I might add because spray adhesive is RUDE.  And I woke up the next morning with the EVERY sheet of paper peeled off and laying on the floor.  I asked my hubby to give me his two cents (I rarely do this) and I guess I should have asked him from the beginning...the whole piece was completely water logged and moist.  You couldn't really tell from the outside because the layers of paint hid everything.  But I should have known because when I went to paint it a deep teal color the paint would occassionally bubble.  Dah.

So out on the curb it went and onto our mommy swap and sell page I went.  Found a GREAT doll house with LOADS of accessories for $45!  Ha!  Guess it was in the cards all along.  Beautiful little G will be getting that for her bday!

On to another AWESOME note....Epoch designs is doing ANOTHER giveaway here in southern california.  This giveaway (should you win!) will take you to a city about two hours North of us here in San Diego, but for a $800 AMAZINGLY build bunk bed...I think we can all handle that!!
